What curriculum do we follow?

Why do we follow the IEB?

It is an internationally recognized curriculum. It is based in South Africa and has good credibility with the tertiary institutions in South Africa. It is well run and has great integrity.

How many pupils in a class?

Not more than 24. Some classes are smaller than that.

What sports does the school offer?

  • During summer:swimming, waterpolo for the girls, tennis, squash, cricket for the boys, body conditioning for girls
  • During winter: tennis, hockey for girls, soccer, squash, trial running, body conditioning for girls

Where do they play sport?

Some times at school, otherwise at various venues around the city. There is transport arranged to the venues for most of the sporting codes

What about if my child plays a sport not offered by the school?

Pupils may participate in sports which the school does not offer. The parents would need to meet with the sport administrator, click here for contact details.

Is there Biblical Integration in the subjects?

Biblical integration is very important and is a central part of the school. It is not just a case of adding a verse to the end of something, it is about seeing things in the curriculum from a Biblical perspective.
