The IEB curriculum is a proudly South African model that serves the academic needs of many independent schools. The curriculum and assessment tools require a high degree of application and commitment from the students, preparing them for the demands of tertiary education. The IEB is selected because of the balance between knowledge and applied skills, whilst providing scope for a value-based education. The IEB is nationally, and internationally recognised by tertiary institutions and boasts a proud record of academic achievement at university level. The IEB Matric Examination is externally set, assessed and moderated by experienced and well-qualified subject experts. IEB students are among the top performers in the country each year with an average of 97-98% of Grade 12 students qualifying for entry to tertiary education.

At Harvest Christian School, students are viewed as uniquely created and gifted by God, each with the responsibility of using their talents to the full. We encourage students to discover God’s purpose for their lives and to avail themselves of opportunities offered at school to prepare them for life. Class sizes are limited to ensure personal attention from our committed and qualified academic staff. Our staff expect a sound work ethic and commitment from each student, whilst providing the support needed to achieve the best possible results.
Harvest has an excellent pastoral structure that monitors individual student academic progress and supports the spiritual, emotional and social needs of each child. The staff strive to partner with parents during the challenging High School years.
